Arabic
Arabic is the official language of the 22 countries which form the Arab League. It is
the native language of over 200 million people residing in this geographical region,
which stretches from Southwest Asia to Northwest Africa and known as the Arab
World. Arabic is also known as a religious language. It is ranked among the top six of
the world's major languages.
At our centre we teach Modern Standard Arabic which is used in books,
newspapers, television and radio, and in conversation between educated Arabs from
different countries.
Our teachers of Arabic are highly qualified and experienced native speakers from
different parts of the Arab world. They use their extensive knowledge of Arabic
language, literature and culture to inspire and encourage students to progress in
their learning and develop a high level of competence in the language.
