What makes us unique?
- At Best Learning Support, we connect your child with our high calibre tutors who will work tirelessly to bring out your child’s full potential. Our primary focus is to strengthen your child’s foundations in Maths, English and Science by using a combination of our tailor-made approach and exam techniques.
- We not only do we develop children academically, but also aim to work on soft skills such as communication, team work and confidence building to help your child thrive in any walk of life.
- we pride ourselves in collaborating with parents in order to gain full understanding of their expectations and their child’s educational requirements. We believe that it is a two-way street, where an open and honest relationship helps produce the best results possible.
- Each year, we receive a large number of applicants wishing to join our classes, which allows us to carefully structure our tuition to ensure consistent quality assurance.
- we also pride ourselves on providing regular and constructive feedback to parents. We feel building and maintaining strong relations with the parents is the key to providing the right study support to children.
Our Lesson Approach:
- Small group size
Our average group size of five to six provide a safe and welcoming environment for your child, where the teachers can focus on your child’s specific needs, allowing them to get involved.
- National curriculum
Our study plan is in line with the National curriculum
- Lesson timings
Each lesson would normally last for 2 hours.
- Lesson plan
During lessons teachers would teach new material by giving examples, setting questions for practice and finally setting homework towards the end of the lesson. From time to time, we would also give pop-up quizzes to ensure children are progressing well. We also focus on building your child’s soft skills by encouraging them to speak out loud in front of their peers.
- Homework
Setting homework towards the end of the lesson is a crucial part of our approach, as it helps us to understand whether a child has been able to apply what they have learnt in the lesson. Based on their work, we can then monitor their performance and tailor our approach accordingly.
